No Deal.

Many Anarchist identifying people will stand up for Ketamine dealers. Many Anarchist identifying people sell Ketamine. I know this because I used to be one of them. There is always the argument that due to the illegality of drugs in the UK, it is, in fact, an anarchist action to make drugs accessible, but I call bullshit. They’ll come up with a regurgitated quips such as “It keeps money in the community”, and then they’ll tick you 50 grams of drugs that are cut with all sorts of other dangerous shit, and off you plod, happy as Larry to be part of the cause and willing to profit off less fortunate and less privileged people underneath you in the ranks of the Barmy Ketamine Army.

It is organised crime.

It does not keep money in the community, Its patriarchal. Its hierarchical. It’s abuse of community and it lines the pockets or rich folk who pray on the weak. You’re are being picked on, not supported. You are being conned and used for your gyro and your pay checks. A tick off someone you respect is not respect back, its using you and it’s supporting the greed of capitalist patriarchs, moonlighting as anarchists.”Well someones going to sell it anyway, so it may as well be me” Age old tales of festering bullshit with no reality attached to them. Propaganda that is told to the younger generations by the sound system owners that don’t want to put the effort in to cook and sell food or hot drinks or partake in fair trade and mutual aid. Easier to pray on the week and look cool whilst doing it than to make the effort to do the next right thing. We can consider these people the CEO’s of ‘Soundsystem Culture’. It is not a way of life. It is a suppressive trick used by capitalists to take from us what we had before.

Free love.

Free music.

A movement that genuinely sparked fear into quivering Tories because it meant there was a genuine threat to their bulging property resumes

If we are Anarchists, like we say we are, we must start from the bottom, community up. We don’t destroy the system then see what happens, because that means organised crime groups and corporations have power, and I believe living under them would be whole lot worse than what we have now. We start by creating safe communities that mean we don’t need hierarchy. We remove the capitalists at our end and grow horizontally upwards, leaving no being behind. Dismantling the state means dismantling all forms of oppressive hierarchies, and drug dealers are on that list folks. I don’t mean we have to do this with hate. Quite the opposite. I don’t even mean we have to stop taking or allowing access to drugs, but the drugs need to be safe and we need to keep an eye on those who are overusing and getting into trouble with themselves and others, physically or mentally. And no one should be profiting from the damage these drugs cause a majority of folk in our “scene”. We can converse. Let the dealers know we don’t want their damaging hierarchy in our communities anymore and revoke our consent to be prayed upon. I was surprised by the understanding I was greeted with when I raised this subject with dealers I know. We can grow with them. We can help those addicted. Use our lessons and knowledge of these experiences and abuses to share recovery and love. Help these capitalists see another way of doing things, with love taking precedent over money. Let’s work with them. But please stop supporting them. Whilst these people have their charge in our society, we stand no hope. Drug dealers use the tricks of the already existing capitalist state, that we oppose, to make money. Yes, we all have to make a living. We all have the freedom to associate with whoever or whatever we chose. All I am arguing is that allowing large scale drug dealers a place in our communities is more damaging than not, regardless of your views on drug accessibility. I have seen so many beautiful humans fade away and die from the heartbreaking destruction of soul that these drugs cause. Praying on the traumatised is not Anarchist. Anarchism is Love. Let’s start there.
